I noticed that both mom and dad were hanging around the nest tonight. They seemed very alert about something...I didn't hang around all night to see what went down.
Fast forward 12 hours
There was an OWL hanging out around the nest waiting for the right moment to zoom in and snatch a baby. So mom and dad were keeping extra close eyes on the babies.
