Three Little [Birds] Went Out To Play

I know this isn't a picture but other than watching Rangers baseball all weekend, this is what we've been doing.

We are addicted to keeping track of these little birds.

At first you may think, "Seriously? This is kinda lame."

But then one of the eagles brings back a dead bunny, then rips it up into little pieces and feeds all the baby birds who are in a cute little row "cheep, cheep"ing away. And they feed them each little bits of food till they're all full.

And then **BAM** the other parent comes swooshing in from the sky to take over caring for the babies so the other one can go be awesome in the sky.

Also interesting to see that even animals have a lack of sleep from babies. They're wiggling around all night long, cheeping, and moving.

It's also funny.

Mama bird covered one of the babies with nesting stuff and when Daddy bird came back and she took off to go have some lunch. He was looking and looking and looking...would look at the other two babies...and then look and look and look....he looked over the sides of the nest....was digging in the nest, then he stepped on the covered up baby and it went "CHEEP!" so he uncovered the baby and cuddled up with all the babies relaxed to know that he hadn't lost one. whew!

Believe me, it's cute.
